About Us

Keith Abrams photoKeith's passion for athletic training developed following a knee injury he suffered while playing college football. The hours spent in the athletic training room performing exercises and observing the certified athletic trainer had a lasting impact on his life. Keith went on to complete his undergraduate degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in the athletic training program at Kean University. After completing his bachelor's degree, Keith decided to continue his education by attending San Jose State University where he received his Master's of Arts degree and produced a videotape on "Rehabilitation Following ACL Reconstruction" for his thesis project.

While attending graduate school, he was the head athletic trainer for the Salinas Peppers of the once Northwestern Baseball League. There, he learned to handle many tasks from organizing team stretch to arranging team meals and hotel assignments. His professional career was only beginning when he accepted a minor league position with the Atlanta Braves organization working with their short season single-A team.

Working professional baseball was short lived as Keith would accept his first position working in the National Football League with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Head Coach Tony Dungy. Having worked 5 years with the Buccaneers organization, Keith decided to take a chance with the XFL Football League as head athletic trainer with the NY/NJ Hitmen. Although the league would cease operation after their first season, Keith had gained a great deal of experience to help land him another opportunity in the National Football League working with the Kansas City Chief and Head Coach Dick Vermeil.
